Sweet Birch Oil (Betula lenta)

🟡 Colour: Clear to pale yellow

💨 Scent: Fresh, minty, wintergreen-like (deep heat style)

🌳 Source: Steam distilled from birch tree bark

🚫 Not Birch Tar (Betula alba) – that is thick, tar-like and NOT used in scent work

Clove Oil (Eugenia caryophyllata)

🟤 Colour: Pale yellow to light brown

💨 Scent: Warm, spicy, rich (like ground cloves/baking spice)

🌸 Source: Steam distilled from dried clove buds

Aniseed Oil (Pimpinella anisum)

🟡 Colour: Clear to pale yellow

💨 Scent: Sweet liquorice (like black jellybeans/sambuca)

🌱 Source: Steam distilled from crushed anise seeds

Cypress Oil (Cupressus sempervirens)

🟡 Colour: Pale yellow to greenish

💨 Scent: Fresh, woody, pine/forest-like

🌲 Source: Steam distilled from leaves & twigs

All four odours can be used at any level under ANKC rules.

Typical progression used in training & trials:

🟢 Novice: Birch (used ~90% of the time) The Fur Kids Bakery Co-Owner Mocha is in Novice level

🟡 Advanced: Birch + Clove (2 odour searches) The Fur Kids Bakery Co-Owner Blitzen is in Advance level message if you have any questions happy to share our experiences to date.

🔵 Higher Levels (Excellent / Masters / Elite): All odours introduced
